need a barcode?

got a release that you need a barcode for? don’t want to pay extra? Terry Burton to the rescue!

UPC-A should do it. Download it as an EPS file and import it into, say, Photoshop with a high enough resolution (600 dpi or so) and then resize as needed to add to your cover art. Bingo.

right, so…

the blog, yeah.  sorry about that.  we got a little to into the whole twitter/facebook thing and let the blog go dead.  we’d swear that it won’t happen again, but we’re probably lying.

we’re getting geared up to work on new songs for the next release or two or three.  nothing’s set in stone yet, but it’s time to noodle a bit.

in other news, after a couple of dives into jango radio we’ve pulled in a whole bunch of new fans, so that’s exciting.

we’re also expecting to see the first round of sales numbers (i.e., September’s sales) next week, so perhaps there’ll be enough to do something crazy, like buy a beer.  we’ll also be able to see what we’re looking at in terms of donations to our chosen charities.

and that, dear reader, is all we have to say right now.

Rhapsody has taken the bait!  Super Kaiju Monster Blast is now available via them as well.  We’re down to iTunes, eMusic and a site called Shockhound that have yet to get on board.  Write your congressman!

Amazon and Amie Street have joined the lloyd-tones retail fray.  This is a fascinating and exciting process.  Which store is next?  Long odds on iTunes :)

lala. I wasn’t familiar with this site until now, but it looks pretty cool.  consider giving it a go, if only so you can say you heard the lloyd-tones from an actual sotrefront.

skbm-coversuper kaiju monster blast has been submitted to Tunecore, the folks we’re using for digital distribution.  its expected go-live date is on or before: 09-Oct-2009.  have no fear that you’ll be the first to know when it’s available.

in the meantime, that right there to the right is a look at the final cover art.

it is alive!

Damas y Caballeros, super kaiju monster blast is done.  Once the cover art is complete (a matter of mere days) then the EP will be uploaded to Tunecore and from there it’s on to iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Rhapsody and maybe a few others.  We will, of course, make all kinds of announcements once the album is available for purchase.

Sites like thesixtyone and facebook will be updated ‘ere long.  In the meantime, you can check out streaming versions of the songs at virb. Today is a rose letter day.  The actual red letter day will be once someone buys the damned thing :)
